Fruit/Vegetable, Cereal Flakes
Fruit/Vegetable, Cereal Flakes means the product prepared by blending fruit(s)
Pulp/Puree of sound ripe fruit(s) / vegetables of any suitable variety, fresh,
frozen or previously preserved, starch, cereals & nutritive sweeteners, other
ingredients appropriate to the product with or without salt & dehydrated in the
form of flakes.
The product may contain food additives permitted in these regulations including
Appendix A. The product
shall conform to the microbiological requirements given in
Appendix B. The product shall comply with the
following requirements:—
1.Moisture (m/m) – Not more than 6.0 percent
2.Acid insoluble Ash (m/m) – Not more than 0.5 percent
3.Starch (m/m) – Not more than 25.0 percent
